外国語で日本文化の微妙な表現は難しいですね。剣道和英辞典は購入を検討します。

I feel that expressing of japanese culture with foreign language is difficult, because there are not words which means complex mind state.
By the way I will purchase kendo term dictionary.

日本が好きな韓国の Akioです.
役に立ったら良いですが, 剣道を初めて勉強する外国人の 立場で翻訳された用語が
楽だろうかは分からないが, 後には日本語がずっと理解しやすいです.

アメリカのＤＴＷです。
全剣連発行の剣道和英辞典にある程度の単語の訳・説明は載っていますよ
（今後の為に一冊有った方が便利です）。
ただし剣道を理解しない人達に教える場合は、単語だけを直訳しても通じない場合が多いと思われます。
例えば”位”は直訳の英単語は有りませんが”Inferiority and superiority" とか
"The difference in spirit and skill when facing an opponent"と説明されています。
火の位の説明は"spilit with fire"よりも"very aggressive and offencive spilit"と
言った方が判るのかなぁ？
中途半端ですみません。

海外で剣道やっています。次の専門用語の訳を教えていただければ幸いです。スペイン語圏の国なので、もしスペイン語堪能の方がいらっしゃればスペイン語でお願いします。英語でも全く構いません。または解説しているサイト教えてください。
一撃 one attack? 払うremove his sinai from position?
前で捌く operate in front of you? 火の位 spilit with fire?
すり上げる（払うとの違い） ？
師の位 action as a teacher? 無駄打ち nonsence attack?
攻め pressure（全剣連videoではそう言ってたが微妙にニュアンスが違う気がする）
説明するときにお手上げでした。どなたかよろしくお願いします
